The Book Mapping PlanGo from WANTING to write a book to ACTUALLY writing a book
There are so many reasons to write a book!
To share your knowledge and your passion, to reach a wider audience, to stand out as a leader in your field, to build your list and attract more clients.
You know a book could help your business, and you’re ready to write one!
…You spend more time staring at a blank screen than actually writing.
… You’ve started a book (or books) but can’t ever seem to finish.
… You’re not sure what to write about.
… You have too many ideas … or not enough ideas … or vague ideas that you can’t seem to flesh out.
You’re frustrated. Annoyed (other people can do this, why can’t you?). And you know you’re missing an opportunity to connect with the people you most want to reach.
How do you go from wanting to write a book to actually writing a book?
Wouldn’t it be great if you knew exactly what to write—and what to write after that? If you could sit down in front of you computer and write easily, knowing that your book will serve both your audience and your business?
Although it seems like it shouldn’t be all that difficult to transform your knowledge into a book, the truth is that you know so much about your topic that it’s hard to know where to start. It’s not that you don’t have anything to say; it’s that you have too much—and you don’t know how to get it all out there.
This is where I can help.
I’m a book coach and an editor who helps entrepreneurs who want to write a book but feel overwhelmed by the process, or simply don’t know where to start. I can help you stop spinning your wheels so you can focus on your journey—and your destination. By working through the Book Mapping Plan with me, you’ll create a step-by-step guide so that you’ll never get stuck wondering what to write next.
After working through the Book Mapping Plan with me, you will:
When you sign up for this package, you’ll receive …
The first step in your journey is to figure out what direction you’re going in. This assessment form will help clarify your goals for your book and spark ideas, as well as tell me what I need to know about your business and your audience. With this context in place, we’ll be ready to talk in person.
Working one-to-one for 45 minutes, we’ll dive deep into the story behind the story. We’ll zero in on what’s really slowing down your book and causing resistance. Then we’ll figure out the most direct route to your goal so you can get down to the business of writing—so you can get your book on the market and start reaching your audience sooner! (As an added bonus, you’ll get a MP3 recording of our session so you can refer to it again throughout this process.)
Immediately after our Navigation session, you’ll receive your “map,” a customizable template. This is where our brainstorming during the Navigation Session turns into a concrete plan of action. Based on our discoveries, you’ll fill in your map and create a concrete plan of action to get your book on the road.
A week later, we’ll spend another 30 minutes going over your map together. I’ll give you personalized feedback tailored to your book goals and audience. When we’re done, you’ll have a structure in place and be ready to begin your book.
No more staring blankly at your computer screen. The next time you sit down in front of your computer, you’ll know exactly what to write.
Your Investment: $97

With Sarah’s support, I was able to bring my ‘author brand’ into focus, brainstorm opt-ins that will help build my readership, build tactics and strategies that support my marketing efforts and ‘next steps’ that will allow me to grow my business to the next level.—Michaela Wirtz
Sarah provides very helpful guidance about how to navigate the writing process in a way that inspires creativity while ensuring an author stays practical…. I really liked that she looked at my manuscript as both a creative endeavor as well as a business opportunity. (S)he was constantly providing tips for how to reach out to my audience, build a mailing list/website, and direct readers to my website for more books or programs.Mary Kay Tam
In a single call, Sarah quickly hit on the two pieces my work needs the most — a blog and an outline. She offered just the right amount of encouragement — with a dose of much-needed organizational advice — to get this show, i.e. my book, on the road.—Shiri Dori-Hacohen
